Testing & Analysis Services

The Unit offers its expertise and instrumentation for contract testing and analysis services to industry, research agencies and legal organisations that require expert-witness services.

This capability can be provided on a routine basis or as a one-off or ad-hoc service. Analytical services include chemical and elemental microanalysis using EDS and XRD, failure analysis, nanomachining and specimen preparation, SEM, TEM and optical microscopy imaging services.

Our academic staff can be contracted for consulting and expert-witness services to provide you with interpretation and analysis of data.

All services conducted by the Unit require a Testing Services Agreement. This is finalised on behalf of the University of Sydney by Sydnovate. To discuss your testing and analysis service needs, please contact our Marketing & Business Development Manager , ph. 02 9114 0566.
